Christmas.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Or is it?

Rachel certainly used to think so. At least she did until her husband Tom confessed on Christmas Eve that it isn’t Santa Claus she hears breaking in but a hitman he’s hired to kill her.

So she better run.
Now.

And run she does, plunging herself into a labyrinth of murder, embezzlement, faked disabilities, game shows and a never-ending stream of psychiatrists. In the end, will Rachel survive this pitch black comedy by Craig Lucas? And more importantly will her love of Christmas?

He’s dying to get rich.

Meet Volpone, a rich old man who wants to become richer still. With the aid of his servant Mosca he sets out to deceive the nobility of Venice, convincing them he is on his deathbed, which prompts them to shower him with gifts in the hope of becoming his sole heir. Buoyed by success the pair persuade the merchant Corvino to offer his beautiful wife to bring Volpone back to health. Meanwhile three English tourists become entangled in the tricksters’ increasingly convoluted schemes in this Jacobean farce. Will the sly fox Volpone face comeuppance for his greed?

His agent, Callum doesn’t care as long as he delivers the exhibition on time. With Operation Yewtree looming large on the horizon, down on her luck journalist Justine sets out to score a scoop.
