Starting February 2026, we will be hosting a monthly play-reading of new writing.
The first will be taking place on 11 February at 19:00, with those in subsequent months pencilled in to take place on the first Wednesday of the month. These will be completely casual so do come along to read – or just listen! – to brand new works, all washed down with a cuppa and a biscuit or two.
February’s offering will be Noodle by Simon Barker, a quirky, funny, carefully cautionary tale about two people who turn to a dating app in the search for love. Unfortunately for them, it seems that this particular digital matchmaker may have a mind of its own. Come along to find out what happens when swiping right goes wrong.
