Maggie survived the end of the world and has enough supplies to last. Now her daughter has come home but something is wrong. Two women square off, kept apart only by their pasts and a protective chalk circle drawn hastily on the floor.

Chalk is a sci-fi thriller about motherhood, responsibility and possession… of all kinds.

Written by American playwright Walt McGough, the script was awarded Best New Play by the Independent Reviewers of New England, 2014. Now in November 2023 – in a world which has faced a global pandemic – EGTG take on this post-apocalyptic tale with a production at Assembly Roxy.
