This is the time of the year when we would normally be announcing auditions for the 2021 Festival Fringe. Unfortunately that is not the case and we have made the decision to postpone our planned productions once again, with the intention of bringing both The Merchant of Venice and Bloody Wimmin to the stage in 2022.

We are continuing our series of virtual table reads in Halloween week, when we would have been presenting Tracy Letts’ Bug, with a suitably melodramatic classic – an adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. We will be gathering online on Wednesday 28 October to bring the horror to life on Zoom.

Our rehearsal rooms may be quieter than usual at this time of year, but we still have some theatrical activity for you to get involved in as we’re arranging a virtual table-read for Monday 10th August at 7:30pm. The EGTG committee have chosen a selection of classical works to perform digitally in the months when we would have been appearing on stage.
